Galen is a character from Laurell K. Hamilton's "Meredith Gentry" series of novels. My friend Lyn commissioned this portrait.
He's intended to have white skin shading to green, and cropped, curly green hair, with one long thin braid down to his knees, the remains of his once-glorious mane.
I used a reference photo for the pose, but I unfortunately don't know the origin, since it was posted to an LJ community as scanned from a calendar.
I really love the green shading, and the sort of fuzzy quality of the piece as a whole. The pubes make me happy, since there's..well...PUBES there, as opposed to clean shaven. Honestly, who wants to keep up with shaving down there, everywhere?
I like the little butt dimples, too. :>
